martial artist here- i will say this. martial arts is what drives my spirituality the most. i do taekwondo which sometimes it’s obviously violent. i do think that peaceful people are capable of the most violence. bc someone who claims peace but is not capable of violence in anyway is not peaceful they are just harmless.
violence aside martial arts has so many different sides like doing poomsae feels very spiritual to me, studying sparring strategies, the little things too like chambering before a punch or kick it all ties into how i move spiritually. i left martial arts a few times in my life too but i think when life puts you on that path the path never can fully leave you. went back recently too & now im testing for my 2nd degree black belt in 4 months.
Congratulations (sort of early on that), and good luck with the upcoming testing for the 2nd degree blackbelt! Exciting stuff. I'm grateful for your words and for your work. I've definitely been set on the path, and will remain on it for the foreseeable future. I'm also always grateful to hear from other practitioner/spiritualists who are training in the arts. I find it helps feed the spirits in my practice, and I'm grateful to take part in it. I've been off the mat for some months now, but I'll be returning once some life changes set in over the course of the end of this year. I'm looking forward to studying a new style and starting fresh come 2026. Grateful for you words, again, and grateful for your dedication and practice- and good luck! Enjoy the belt up, I'm sure it will be well earned 🙏🏼❤️🥋
i think that studying physical combat / violence helps in how to understand psychological/energetic/psychic attacks. bc the way someone “fights” shows how they operate internally so you can defend yourself on more fronts than physical. best of luck to you!!! :)
thank YOU! your work has helped me in all these astrologically foggy moments this past year & i’ve learned to use harsh transits as an anchoring period for growth through your work!! i had to leave the environment i was training in but i starting training alone just in my back yard before going to a new environment. sometimes places that teach the arts attract energetically & physically violent (ill intended) people that will siphon your energy & craft. i just really try to use discernment with who im training with because its a very energetically vulnerable thing bc its meditating to me. hold ur boundaries against people energetically fighting against you & it shifts the energy. my martial arts journey has died & basically reborn. good luck to your journey!! i was so excited when you said “martial arts” !!!!
Hoping I can float a question here as I won’t be able to attend the live in real time. For whenever you can really, could you speak more on binding as well as alters? I’m still try to wrap my head around these subjects

Are you more Virgo than anything else Val?
What's up Valkyrja! Thank you, it was a ton of fun! How often do you usually go live?
